Onawumi,
storyteller and educator, is Associate Dean of Students at Amherst
College in Massachusetts. For over a decade Onawumi’s
narratives, lectures, and workshops have utilized the dramatic
expression and soulful rhythms of her storytelling as a means
of imparting valued knowledge and traditions.
Storytelling
is the vehicle through which Kucha dawns. Kucha brings over
25 years of performing to the storytelling arena. She is a lead
storyteller facilitator for "Words 37," a storytelling
program for high school students. She was a consulting artist
for Urban Gateway’s "Bicentennial Arts Guide –
A Bag of Ideas for Creative Teaching."
Saundra
Gilliard-Davis, aka Momma Sandi, has emerged as a powerful voice
among "story-teachers." A passionate storyteller,
playwright, speaker, consultant and seminar leader, Momma Sandi
has been captivating and inspiring audiences of all ages for
almost two decades.
